Electrical Supervisor/Site Manager

My client is a reputable organisation who have established themselves in delivering M&E services, they are known for their reputation on delivering projects on time, on budget and safely to a first-class finish. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor/Site Manager for their team based in Newtownabbey.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position.

Working Hours: Mon – Thurs 08.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 08.00 – 2.00pm.

Salary: Negotiable dependant on experience

Must be willing and able to travel in NI as well as requirements to travel to ROI and GB.

Essential Criteria:

• Have a trade background
\n
• Health and safety knowledge
\n
• IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
\n
• Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines and working under pressure
\n
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
\n
• Must have a clean driving license
\n

Desirable Criteria:

\n
• Knowledge of Procore (training will be provided)
\n

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

\n
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
\n
• Procurement of general day-to-day materials
\n
• Responsible for the control of labour and their coordination with other trades on-site
\n
• Ensure all installations are of the highest quality
\n
• Ensuring the installation complies with the latest relevant regulations
\n
• Meeting with clients, main contractors, and subcontractors regularly
\n
• Procurement and management of hire equipment on-site
\n
• Preparation of short-term lookahead programmes and inputting into the overall master programme
\n
• Provide regular reports on progress and performance to the Contracts Manager
