\nWe are seeking a Lecturer to join our team. In this role you will you will lead and oversee your programme, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and student outcomes. You will plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, develop and improve the curriculum, coordinate modules and support teaching staff. You will monitor student progress, achievement and assessment, using data to identify improvements and support retention and progression. You will also ensure the programme meets college, awarding body and regulatory requirements, while working with students, staff and stakeholders to create a supportive, inclusive and high-performing learning environment.\n

\nAbout the role:\n

- To undertake a teaching role across a range of Level 1-3 Media curriculum, delivering practical and theory sessions appropriate to the needs of all learners and the different courses. \n
- To monitor standards of students' work against awarding organisation guidelines and to raise achievement levels. \n
- Working with area leadership teams to ensure management of quality assurance and provision. Ensuring appropriate requirements are met for external verification. \n
- Lead on modelling best practise through the development of subject curricula to include Technology Enhanced Learning and innovative delivery methods. \n
- Comprehensive teaching responsibilities (lesson planning, assessing, preparation, delivery, marking). \n
- Designing, developing, and reviewing curriculum materials in line with programme specifications and quality assurance frameworks \n
- Delivering engaging and innovative teaching using a variety of pedagogical approaches to meet diverse learner needs. \n

- Proven experience of planning, teaching and assessment. \n
- Experience of working with young people. \n
- Teaching or delivering training experience. \n
- Experience of delivering Meida related subjects reflecting recent changes in industry. \n
- Experience of undertaking a pastoral role and effectively using individual learning planning to raise achievement \n
- Ability to teach a good range of the following subject areas: \n
- Film and TV \n
- Content Creation \n
- Print Media \n
- AI \n
- Games \n
- \n
- Education to degree level and/or above in required subject or equivalent \n
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent \n
- Level 5 Teaching Qualification/ completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course \n
