Project Manager – Healthcare Refurbs

Office based role in Dartford with Site Visits

A specialist construction contractor is seeking an Project Manager to deliver multiple healthcare and hospital construction projects , managing projects from handover through to completion, commissioning and defects.

Any refurbishment project experience (Retail/Schools, etc....) or actual Healthcare/hospital and Design & Build experience are preferential for the role.

The Role

• Manage multiple construction projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, quality and H&S standards.
\n
• Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors, designers, clients and clinical teams.
\n
• Prepare and manage programmes, RAMS, CPPs, RFIs, technical submissions and drawing trackers.
\n
• Lead design meetings and client meetings, ensuring actions are progressed.
\n
• Work closely with the commercial team on procurement, variations, budgets and provisional sums.
\n
• Identify and manage project risks, delays and EOTs.
\n
• Oversee commissioning, O&M information and final handover.
\n
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular progress reports.
\n
• Travel nationwide to project sites when required.
\n
• Follow specialist MRI/ferromagnetic safety procedures where applicable.

Requirements

\n
• Proven construction Project Management experience.
\n
• Previous Design & Build experience.
\n
• Trade/site-based construction experience.
\n
• SMSTS qualified.
\n
• Proficient with Asta Powerproject.
\n
• Strong RAMS, programme and commercial awareness.
\n
• Working knowledge of M&E.
\n
• Asbestos Awareness & Working at Height training.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Full UK driving licence.
\n
• Degree/NVQ Level 7 or equivalent experience preferred.
\n
• DBS clearance may be required.
\n
