Healthcare Assistant Southport, PR8 £15.50 - £18.00 per hour Part Time | Nights | 7:00pm-8:00am & 7:00pm-10:00am 2-3 shifts per week Join Apollo Home Healthcare We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support an independent gentleman in his 40s, living in his own home in Southport. He is studying for a university degree in AI and Technology and enjoys an active social life, including music, DJing, and attending live events. This is a fantastic opportunity to support someone with a vibrant personality and a strong sense of independence. You will provide overnight support, helping him remain safe, comfortable, and confident at home. Your role will include person-centred care, support with personal care, mobility, clinical needs where required, and maintaining a safe home environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping him continue to live independently and enjoy the activities that are important to him. Your Role as a Healthcare Assistant * Personal care * Preparing meals- full support with all meals and fluids * Moving and handling * Medication Administration * Assisting in the community * Supporting with household chores What You'll Need Minimum 3 months' care experience Confident with personal care and moving & handling Strong communication skills Pet friendly Important Drivers are essential for this role. You will be required to drive the client's adapted vehicle and must have held a full driving licence for a minimum of 3 years for insurance purposes.
