REED Education are delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving and welcoming Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in North Cambridgeshire, who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term position initially running until December 2026, with the exciting potential to become a permanent appointment from January 2027 for the right candidate.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their confidence, literacy skills, and passion for English Language and Literature.

You will join a supportive English department that values collaboration, creativity, and high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential

• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
\n
• Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
\n
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
\n
• Passion for raising attainment and inspiring young people
\n
• Excellent classroom management skills
\n
