\nYour Role As Our Plumber:
\n- \n
- Repairing burst pipes \n
- Resolving leaks from taps, toilets and pipework \n
- General plumbing repairs and quick fixes within occupied properties \n
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults in domestic water systems \n
- Install, repair/ replace hot & cold-water supplies, including baths, showers and toilets and waste systems \n
- Locate and repair hot and cold-water bursts \n
- Clear blocked drains and toilets \n
- Trace, diagnose & identify faults on hot & cold-water systems \n
- Report / Complete works using your PDA \n
- Report accidents, near-miss events, and potential hazards \n
- Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules \n
What We Need from You.
\n- \n
- Qualified plumber \n
- Minimum 5 years plumbing experience \n
- Strong knowledge of domestic water systems \n
- Experience working in occupied residential properties \n
- Social housing experience is desirable but not essential \n
- Basic tiling skills would be advantageous \n
- Completed NVQ Level 2 qualification \n
- Must have served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3) \n
- Competent in all aspects of plumbing trade discipline and with experience of maintenance work on domestic properties, pre pain repairs and refurbishments \n
- A background of plumbing and experience in the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptions \n
- Experience working within social housing environment doing bathroom replacements, pipework alterations and other repairs \n
- Demonstrated ability to work with own initiative and deal with problems encountered. \n
- A current driving license is essentialSkilled workers will hold a CSCS Card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools. \n
