In-House Solicitor (Property Litigation)Hertfordshire4 – 8 PQE£70K - £80KA leading UK property and investment group is seeking an experienced In-House Solicitor to join its legal team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal support to a substantial residential leasehold property management business, working closely with the Head of Legal and a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role will have a particular focus on property management, building safety and property litigation, with exposure to complex and commercially significant matters across England and Wales.The Role\n

• Advising on building safety and property management matters, both contentious and non-contentious
\n
• Investigating complex leasehold and freehold title structures
\n
• Drafting, reviewing, amending and proofreading legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, correspondence and external advice
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of case files (where appropriate), court and tribunal filings, and legal briefs
\n
• Drafting, reviewing and amending contracts, pleadings, correspondence and other legal documents
\n
• Assisting with the preparation of case files, court and tribunal documentation and legal briefs
\n

The ideal candidate will have:\n

• At least 4 years' PQE as a Solicitor, with experience in property litigation gained in private practice or in-house
\n
• Strong experience in residential property law, including complex leasehold and freehold title investigations
\n
• Experience of property disputes and/or building safety matters
\n
• Construction law experience would be advantageous
\n
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
\n
• Experience using Microsoft Office and legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis
\n
