Our client is a top 40 accountancy firm based in the Maidstone area. The business has recently been acquired and is going from strength to strength. Our client is keen to bolster its audit department with the recruitment of an Audit Manager.

• Manage the planning, reviewing and completion of audit assignments.

• Ensure compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulations.
\n
• Review and analyse financial statements to ensure accuracy and reliability.
\n
• Review accounts work prepared by juniors.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to the audit team to enhance their performance.
\n
• Maintain strong client relationships and address their audit-related concerns.
\n
• Identify areas for improvement and offer recommendations to clients.
\n
• Monitor and adhere to project deadlines and budgets.
\n
• Stay updated on industry changes and implement best practices.
\n

Profile

A successful Audit Manager should have:

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and practices.
\n
• 6+ years experience working for an accountancy practice firm in an audit role.
\n
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
\n
• Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
\n
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• A professional qualification in accounting or auditing, such as ACA or ACCA.
\n
