Hourly Rate: £18-25

Location: Term Time Only

Join our dedicated team as a Student Achievement Tutor, responsible for delivering comprehensive group tutorials and one-to-one sessions that support our students' academic and personal growth. This role is pivotal in helping students set and achieve SMART targets, providing pastoral support, and ensuring they are prepared for their future careers.

\n

Day-to-day of the role:

\n

Deliver weekly group tutorials covering a range of themes including safeguarding, pastoral care, careers, social action, and study skills.

\n

Conduct one-to-one sessions with students to set SMART targets and discuss progression opportunities.

\n

Monitor and support the implementation of all study programme elements such as career advantage, Gatsby benchmarks, work experience, and enrichment projects.

\n

Lead and collaborate with curriculum teams to implement attendance and behaviour interventions.

\n

Monitor vulnerable student cohorts and work with internal and external support teams to remove barriers to achievement and progression.

\n

Act as the first point of reference for students for pastoral support, coordinating with internal and external teams to initiate support and intervention strategies.

\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

\n

Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy.

\n

Experience working with young people and delivering group sessions.

\n

Strong understanding of the challenges facing young people today.

\n

Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with students, staff, and external organisations.

\n

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.

\n

Empathetic and able to relate to students of all ages and backgrounds.

\n
