The roleWe are seeking an exceptional Qualified Solicitor, CILEX Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive with conveyancing practice rights to join our growing in-house legal team as a Legal Services Manager (Transactions). In this roleyou will work closely with the Head of Legal Services (Transactions) to shape the Disposals workstream and ensure consistently excellent service delivery.Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Inspire and manage a fantastic team of lawyers in the Legal Services team, demonstrating Southern Housing's HEART values and our commitment to residents.Focus Area: Serve as the single point of excellence for the disposals work of the Legal Services team.The teams work supports Southern Housings disposal programme at auction and open market sales, helping to generate funds from poor quality properties that can be reinvested to improve current stock and services for the benefit of Southern Housings residents.Case Management: Manage a personal caseload of property and conveyancing matters, across the full range of transactional work carried out by the Legal Services team.Training & Development: Provide training for the Legal Services team and Southern Housing colleagues, developing tools and precedents, and ensuring consistency and efficiency in the disposals workstream.This role is based at our main offices in Farringdon (London) , with hybrid working options when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.
