Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Analyst Location: Glasgow Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified asbestos professional looking for a varied role covering Glasgow and the wider Central Belt. The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties. Salary & Benefits Competitive salary Company vehicle provided Company pension scheme Overtime opportunities available Ongoing training and professional development Structured and manageable workload Varied projects across the Central Belt Long-term career progression opportunities Permanent, secure position The Role Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 Undertaking air monitoring and four-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248 Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector sites Managing your own diary and workload effectively Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures About You BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential) Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable Confident managing a field-based workload independently Strong communication and report-writing skills Full UK driving licence Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work Why This Role Genuine dual surveying and analytical position Varied workload across Glasgow and the Central Belt Structured scheduling and strong operational support Ongoing technical development Excellent long-term career progression opportunities Permanent position within an established consultancy If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on (phone number removed) or email
