Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor Analyst to join their team in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will undertake a balanced mix of surveying and analytical duties across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector properties.

The Role\n
    \n
  • \n

    Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264

    • \n
  • \n

    Undertaking air monitoring and four-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248

    • \n
  • \n

    Carrying out reassurance, leak, background, and personal air testing

    • \n
  • \n

    Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types

    • \n
  • \n

    Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports

    • \n
  • \n

    Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential, and public sector sites

    • \n
  • \n

    Managing your own diary and workload effectively

    • \n
  • \n

    Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams

    • \n
  • \n

    Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

    • \n
About You\n
    \n
  • \n

    BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (essential)

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable

    • \n
  • \n

    Confident managing a field-based workload independently

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and report-writing skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Full UK driving licence

    • \n
  • \n

    Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work
