The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
\n
• Foster a love of reading, writing and literature
\n
• Support students in developing strong analytical, communication and critical thinking skills
\n
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities
\n
• Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively
\n
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
\n
• Contribute to the wider success of the English department and school community
\n

The Ideal Candidate

\n
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
\n
• Have experience teaching English Language and Literature within UK secondary schools
\n
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
\n
• Are committed to raising attainment and improving student outcomes
\n
• Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
\n
• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents
\n
• Have a genuine passion for English and education
\n
