Teamwork Partnership is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing food manufacturing business for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead the Health & Safety function at their Holme-on-Spalding Moor site.

\n

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who is passionate about creating a positive safety culture, ensuring legal compliance, and driving continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing operation. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will take ownership of the site's Health & Safety strategy and performance.

\n

The Role

\n

As the Health & Safety Manager, you will provide expert guidance to management teams, ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, conduct audits and inspections, deliver training, and promote a proactive safety-first culture throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Lead and manage the site's Health & Safety function.
  • \n
  • Develop and implement Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Carry out workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
  • \n
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
  • \n
  • Deliver Health & Safety inductions, toolbox talks and staff training.
  • \n
  • Advise managers on Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
  • \n
  • Manage statutory inspections and compliance for equipment and machinery.
  • \n
  • Lead monthly Health & Safety meetings and monitor KPIs.
  • \n
  • Maintain COSHH assessments, emergency procedures and safety documentation.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement and promote a positive Health & Safety culture.
  • \n

What We're Looking For

\n

? NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
\n ? Previous experience in a Health & Safety management role within manufacturing or FMCG
\n ? Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation
\n ? Excellent communication and coaching skills
\n ? Confident delivering training and influencing stakeholders at all levels
\n ? Strong IT, organisational and problem-solving skills

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • \n
  • IOSH Membership
  • \n
  • Food manufacturing experience
  • \n
\n

Salary & Hours

\n

Up to £40,000 DOE

\n

Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm

\n

Flexibility is required to support the business, including occasional weekend work during audits and peak operational periods.
