Water Engineer, £30k - £38k, Signing Bonus+Company Car+Pension+Overtime+Private Healthcare\n
\nWe are seeking an experienced Water Engineer to join a well-established, growing water utilities contractor operating across Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a friendly and supportive business offering long-term employment, training and genuine career progression.\n
\nAs the new Water Engineer, you will carry out hands-on clean water network works including repairing and maintaining water mains and services, leak detection and repairs, excavations, connections and reinstatement. You will also be responsible for leading a small gang and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.\n
\nThe successful Water Engineer will have proven experience working directly on clean water networks. This is a hands-on site-based role and would suit someone experienced in physically carrying out water network works.\n
\nRequired Water Engineer Experience:\n
\n* Full UK Driving Licence.\n
\n* Water Hygiene Card.\n
\n* NRSWA Street Works Certification - essential for Team Leaders/Gangers.\n
\n* Hands-on clean water network experience.\n
\n* Experience repairing and laying water mains and services.\n
\n* Experience with connections, leak repairs and reinstatement.\n
\n* Experience leading or running a small gang.\n
\n* Cat & Genny experience.\n
\n* Excavator/Dumper, First Aid, Manual Handling, Lifting Operations or Banksman qualifications desirable.\n
\nAs the new Water Engineer, you will be expected to deliver high-quality work across water network projects, lead your team effectively, maintain excellent health and safety standards and communicate professionally with customers and the public.\n
\nWhat is offered:\n
\n* £13.00-£19.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.\n
\n* £500 signing-on bonus after 6 months.\n
\n* Overtime available.\n
