\n We are actively seeking a Payroll Manager for a well established and growing company in Media City, Salford.

\n This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a 15 month fixed term contract (maternity cover).

\n The main duties include:

\n
    \n
  • Lead the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with all payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and pension regulations.
  • \n
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, reporting and statutory payments, including PAYE, NI and pensions.
  • \n
  • Prepare and oversee year-end payroll activities, including P60s, P11Ds and PSA requirements.
  • \n
  • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll queries and issues.
  • \n
  • Lead payroll improvement projects, including system enhancements, process optimisation and legislative changes.
  • \n
  • Manage overseas and casual payroll arrangements.
  • \n
  • Develop, coach and support the Payroll Supervisor, fostering a high-performing and customer-focused team culture.
  • \n
  • Maintain robust payroll controls, documentation and business continuity plans.
  • \n
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, auditors, pension providers and third-party payroll partners.
  • \n

Our client is looking for a part or fully qualified CIPP Payroll Professional who has:

    \n
  • Significant experience managing payroll operations and payroll teams
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and pension administration
  • \n
  • Proven leadership, coaching and stakeholder management skills
  • \n
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • \n
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process enhancements and change initiatives
  • \n
