We are excited to invite a dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster.

About the Role\n

As the Registered Manager, you will hold the key responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home. Your leadership will ensure that we deliver high-quality care while promoting the rights of young people. You will guide a team of care workers to achieve positive outcomes for our residents, supporting their physical, psychological, emotional, and social development.

Main Responsibilities\n

  • Service and Practice: Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with legislation and organizational policies.
  • \n
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records for both young people and staff, implementing monitoring systems.
  • \n
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and appraise staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
  • \n
  • Financial Management: Monitor the service budget and ensure financial targets are met.
  • \n
  • External Relations: Promote the organization positively with external agencies and contribute to leadership forums.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

  • Qualifications: A relevant Diploma Level 5 or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
  • \n
  • Experience: Proven experience in managing a team and a comprehensive understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
  • \n
  • Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for providing the highest quality care and education.
  • \n
Working Conditions\n

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 39 hours per week, including sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota. Some office days will be necessary for administrative tasks.
