What You'll Do\n

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in a welcoming home environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people with their daily routines
  • \n
  • Building positive relationships and becoming a trusted adult
  • \n
  • Helping them develop confidence, life skills, and independence
  • \n
  • Ensuring their safety and providing encouragement every day
  • \n
Working Pattern\n

Your work will involve a shift rota, with each shift lasting 24 hours. You will be compensated for sleep-in shifts and typically work two to three shifts in a row, including a mix of weekdays and weekends. Overtime opportunities are also available!

Requirements\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards it
  • \n
  • Be friendly and able to communicate effectively with children and colleagues
  • \n
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us)
  • \n
