You will promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all service users, employees and visitors. If you have the aspiration, capability and dedication, we can give you the support and opportunities to help you achieve your career goals.Other responsibilities:To actively promote multidisciplinary working.Participate in the Senior Nurse on call arrangementProvide the Director of Nurses with relevant, accurate and timely information required for effective decision makingLeadership of Nursing Services ensuring highest possible professional standardsManagement of resources within budget allocationSupervision of senior nursesDirect involvement in the preadmission assessment processDirect customer and contract liaison in conjunction with the unit managerDeputising for the Unit ManagerTo comply with individual responsibilities of relevant legislationThings that you will have:RMN or RNMHPost Graduate qualification at degree level relevant to healthcareManagement qualification (DMS or equivalent preferred)Registered Nurse RMN/RMNH7 years post qualification experienceBudgetary and financial managementProject management2 years operationalManagement at senior levelWhere you will be workingLocation : Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET.You will be working at Thornford Park, a 141 bedded independent hospital which supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services.
