Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We’re on the lookout for a Highways Maintenance Operative to join our dedicated Shropshire team! You’ll be based in one of our key locations:

Hours: 40 hours per week
\nSalary: £27,976 – £31,000 per year + benefits
\nPlease note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
Your Role\nAs a Highways Maintenance Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our local highways are safe and well-maintained. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Performing routine maintenance activities on the highway network \n
- Participating in winter maintenance and emergency callout services \n
- Operating various plant and equipment to carry out your duties effectively \n
- Utilizing the CONFIRM application to accurately record site works and upload photographic evidence \n
- Collaborating with team members and subcontractors to maintain a safe working environment \n
This role is perfect for you if:

- You have experience in highways maintenance \n
- You hold a 12d Lantra Traffic Management training certificate \n
- You possess an LGV driving licence \n
- You have strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills \n
- You’re trustworthy, self-motivated, and have excellent customer service skills \n
