Insolvency Partner | Birmingham | National Law Firm | Excellent Financial PackageAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insolvency Partner to join the Birmingham office of a highly regarded national law firm.This is a strategic hire for a firm looking to further strengthen and grow its insolvency offering in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be an established insolvency specialist with a strong reputation in the market, an existing client following and the commercial drive to develop new opportunities.The RoleYou will play a key role in developing the firm's insolvency practice, acting for a broad range of clients including insolvency practitioners, lenders, directors, shareholders, companies, creditors and other stakeholders.The role will involve a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, including:\n

• Corporate and personal insolvency.
\n
• Corporate restructuring and turnaround.
\n
• Insolvency litigation and contentious matters.
\n
• Director disqualification and breach of duty claims.
\n
• Preference, transaction at undervalue and antecedent transaction claims.
\n
• Administrations, liquidations and receiverships.
\n
• Creditor and shareholder disputes.
\n
• Advising insolvency practitioners and financial institutions.
\n
• Asset recovery and enforcement.
\n
• Cross-border and complex insolvency matters where appropriate.

The CandidateThe successful candidate will be an established Insolvency Partner or senior insolvency lawyer with a strong track record and a demonstrable reputation within the market.Importantly, you will have:\n

• A strong existing client following and portable work.
\n
• A proven ability to generate new business and develop client relationships.
\n
• An established network of contacts across the insolvency, restructuring, banking and professional services markets.
\n
• Strong technical expertise across contentious and/or non-contentious insolvency.
\n
• Excellent commercial and business development skills.
\n
• The ambition to play a significant role in growing a Birmingham practice.
\n
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work strategically within a national law firm.
