Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.We are currently looking for a Multi Trader to work on void properties across the Oxford area, carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance works to bring properties back up to a high standard ready for re-let.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled Multi Trader looking for ongoing work, strong rates and regular hours, with materials delivered directly to site.The Role:Carry out general repairs and maintenance across void propertiesComplete a range of multi trade works including carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, tiling and decoratingCarry out making good and remedial worksRepair or replace fixtures, fittings and damaged materials where requiredIdentify additional works and report any issues requiring attentionWork efficiently through properties to ensure they are ready for re-letMaintain high standards of workmanship and leave properties clean and tidyManage your own workload and complete works within agreed timescalesMaterials supplied and delivered directly to siteWhat We're Looking For:Strong all-round Multi Trader with a property maintenance backgroundPrevious social housing experience would be highly desirableVoid property experience would be advantageousConfident working across multiple tradesAble to work independently without constant supervisionGood eye for detail and pride in your workmanshipReliable, professional and able to work to deadlinesIdeally based in Oxford or the surrounding areasRequirements:Own van required - a suitable estate car may be consideredOwn basic toolsPrevious property maintenance, repairs or construction experienceRight to work in the UKAble to work Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30Benefits:Up to £220 per dayOngoing workSaturday work available at standard rateBank Holiday work paid at time and a halfNo Sunday workingMaterials delivered directly to siteOngoing void property workFortus Recruitment Group Limited acts as an Employment Business for the supply of temporary workers and an Employment Agency for permanent vacancies.
