Installation Engineer

Excelerate is a leading provider of advanced technology and communications solutions for emergency services, government agencies, and critical sectors. Were looking for a hands-on, motivated Installation Engineer to join our growing team.

The Role

You'll install and commission communication, network, and AV systems in vehicles and buildings. This includes:

• Running and terminating cabling (network, coax, AV, data)
\n
• Installing server rack and IT equipment
\n
• Setting up software and basic computer networks
\n
• Testing systems, training users, and supporting delivery from start to finish
\n

Youll Need

\n
• First fix cabling experience (network, AV, etc.)
\n
• IT/networking knowledge and hands-on tool skills
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills
\n
• Willingness to travel with overnight stays (UK & occasional overseas)
\n
• Willingness to work at height using access equipment
\n
