Travel Hospital Pharmacist | De Pere, Wisconsin

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a small 40-bed hospital located in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. This role offers the chance to work in a busy inpatient pharmacy supporting a diverse patient population including med/surg, OB/GYN, ICU, oncology, and emergency care units. The inpatient census typically ranges from 30 to 40 patients.

Schedule options include either four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends or a block schedule such as 7 days on followed by 7 days off during day shifts. Immediate start available for a 13+ week assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process EPIC medication orders accurately in a fast-paced inpatient pharmacy setting
• Oversee technician work and ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols
• Respond promptly to pharmacist inquiries and phone calls
• Prepare and provide inpatient unit dose medications, outpatient chemotherapy, and IV medications for both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support multiple hospital departments including surgery, ICU, med/surg, OB/GYN, oncology, and emergency department

Desired Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficient with EPIC or similar pharmacy systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a team environment
• Comfortable working with oncology and specialized IV therapies
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
