Job Description
Position: Part-Time - Night Shift
Key ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role will:
- Oversee the provision of high-quality nursing care for patients across all stages of life, while managing operational matters during their shift.
- Deliver clinical care as necessary, particularly when patient volume requires additional support.
- Effectively communicate patient care updates, departmental challenges, and staff issues to the relevant leadership.
- Act as a resource for staff, offering guidance and assistance as needed.
Essential Education:
Candidates must have completed a nursing program.
Required Experience:
A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is necessary.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is also favored, along with advanced certification in a relevant specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinical proficiency is essential.
This position involves working night shifts on a part-time basis.
