Radiology Technologist

In the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts the x-ray equipment and determines proper voltage as well as current and desired exposure time for each radiograph. Education and Work Experience:

~ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists †Radiography (ARRT-R): Required
Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Facility Specific License/Certifications:

~ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Prepares equipment for use as needed. Documents exam information. Reports important information to the physician.
