Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and treatments in line with policies and the personalized occupational therapy care plan.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are completed accurately and promptly.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures relevant to the scope of practice.
  • Identify and respond to patient care priorities with initiative and sound judgment.
  • Successfully complete all required orientations, in-services, and training in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Possess a valid professional OT license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate from an ACOTE accredited program and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exams (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). Foreign-trained candidates must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program standards.
