We are excited to announce an opportunity for a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to become a part of our clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. We particularly encourage candidates who are fluent in Spanish to apply.

Work Environment

Your surgical practice will be primarily located at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH), a 312-bed community teaching hospital in Queens, NY. LIJFH offers a wide range of inpatient medical and surgical services, intensive care, and specialized women’s health care. The facility is recognized as a Level II Perinatal Center and serves as a 911 receiving site, certified heart station, and a designated Stroke Center by the state of New York. Our Orthopedic Department has received advanced certification in total joint replacement from the Joint Commission, ensuring that our patients receive care from highly skilled staff utilizing the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Must hold or be eligible for a medical license in the State of New York.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time clinical base salary for this position ranges from $125K to $750K, influenced by various factors such as specialty, experience level, quality of care, academic achievements, patient satisfaction, and productivity. The stated compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of potential base salary at the time of this job posting and may be subject to change in the future.
