About the Role:
\nThe Pharmacy Technician-Retail-PRN at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Maryland works under the lead supervision of a Pharmacist to provide services to Pharmacy customers. The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care.
\nResponsibilities:
\nReceive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate.
\nCollect/enter appropriate method of payment from patrons for prescriptions, OTCs and non-pharmaceutical products purchased.
\nMaintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Answers telephones, responding to questions or requests.

- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) \n
- MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS PHARMACY TECH preferred \n
- Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technicians required. MUST BE BOTH REGISTERED AND CERTIFIED WITH MARYLAND BOARD OF PHARMACY. \n
- PTCB preferred or equivalent state program \n
Pay Range: $20.06 to $30.09 Based On Experience
