Senior/Staff Software Engineer

What You Will Do
\n- \n
- Own complex technical projects from architecture through implementation and production deployment \n
- Design highly reliable, scalable, secure, and performant systems \n
- Build AI-driven financial workflows and automation platforms \n
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Executive leadership \n
- Contribute technical direction across multiple engineering domains \n
- Build systems supporting billing, payments, ERP integrations, revenue operations, commercial graph infrastructure, AI/ML workflows, frontend platforms, and core infrastructure \n
- Drive technical discussions and challenge architectural decisions when appropriate \n
- Help define engineering standards and best practices \n
- Mentor engineers and elevate overall team performance \n
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Finance, and GTM teams \n
- Build production-grade systems operating at significant scale and complexity \n
- Shape engineering culture during a critical scaling phase \n
- Lead through technical excellence rather than direct people management \n
- Spend the majority of time writing code and solving technical problems \n
- Help establish long-term technical foundations for future company growth \n
Ideal Candidate Background

- 7–15 years of software engineering experience \n
- Experience building complex products at high-growth B2B SaaS, AI, or fintech companies \n
- Experience working at Series A–C startups or renowned engineering organizations \n
- Strong individual contributor background at Senior or Staff level \n
- Experience influencing architecture, product direction, and technical strategy \n
- Strong TypeScript and Python engineering skills \n
- Experience with AWS and modern cloud-native systems \n
- Familiarity with NestJS, Next.js, distributed systems, and backend infrastructure \n
- Strong computer science fundamentals including algorithms, distributed systems, and system design \n
- Experience working in highly collaborative cross-functional environments \n
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers while remaining hands-on technically \n
- Ability to challenge decisions constructively and defend technical opinions \n
- Strong engineering judgment and architectural thinking \n
- Experience operating during high-growth scaling phases \n
