\n\nRole Overview
\nThe Fire Life Safety Service Sales Manager leads the district/branch service sales team and owns sales plan achievement in the Western New England region. This is a hands-on leadership role centered on customer growth, team development, and strong execution across bookings, recurring revenue, pricing, and territory performance in fire life safety solutions.

\n\nWestern New England: Western Massachusetts (entire region), all of Rhode Island, and Connecticut (entire state)
\nTravel regularly within Western New England to support customers, opportunities, and field teams
\n\nWhat You Will Do
\n\nLead the district/branch service sales team to meet or exceed customer, employee, and sales goals focused on fire life safety services (inspection, detection, suppression, sprinkler, monitoring, fire alarm systems, access control, and related services)
\nOwn sales plan achievement for all service sales activities within Western New England
\nDrive bookings growth by expanding existing accounts and developing new business opportunities in fire life safety services
\nPartner with Area Sales and General Managers to develop regional sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and execute pricing strategies
\nMonitor sales performance, refine approaches as needed, and reallocate resources to improve results
\nSupport development of marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for the territory with a fire life safety emphasis
\nCoach and train the sales force on products, services, campaigns, sales promotions, sales techniques, and performance standards
\nBuild, hire, develop, and align a high-performing team
\nGrow and retain the recurring revenue base through direct coaching and mentoring of Service Sales and Customer Care teams
\nMeet with key clients, support negotiation and closing efforts, and use ride-alongs to strengthen coaching and customer relationships
\nCollaborate with other area and nationally based service and solutions sales leaders to share best practices and achieve company objectives
\nSupport the Area General and Area Sales Managers on service-related high-volume sales activities as needed
\nDevelop territory business plans covering business development, sales staffing, market assignments, strategic customer development, and industry relations in fire life safety
\nEnsure company policies and procedures are understood, communicated, and followed
\n\nHow You Will Do It

\nStay close to the customer and the field by focusing on activities that most directly drive bookings, recurring revenue, and long-term relationships in fire life safety
\nUse coaching, performance reviews, and continuous improvement to strengthen both individual and team results
\nWork across sales, operations, and leadership teams to remove obstacles and help customers succeed
\nBalance strategic planning with disciplined execution so the team has clear priorities and the right support to deliver against targets
\nLead by example in pricing discipline and contractual quality to support profitable growth decisions
\nDevelop talent through mentoring, ride-alongs, training, and practical feedback that builds confidence and capability
\nUse customer and market insight to adjust territory plans, prioritize opportunities, and improve overall sales effectiveness
\nMaintain a strong emphasis on life safety, compliance, and documentation in all client engagements
\n\nQualifications
\n\nCollege degree in Business or equivalent experience
\nDemonstrated ability to lead high-volume or transaction-based sales teams in a B2B environment; experience in fire life safety is strongly preferred
\nExperience leading teams, managing projects, and selling effectively at all customer levels
\nAbility to create solutions that meet customer needs while supporting business objectives
\nExperience building, organizing, and developing multi-talented teams
\nStrong business acumen
\nExcellent communication and team-building skills with a solid understanding of inter-departmental relationships
\nProven time management, prioritization, and deadline-delivery skills
\nExperience guiding teams through transitions or significant organizational change
\n\nNice to Have
\n\nBachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
\nFive or more years of experience in the fire safety industry
\nFive or more years in a leadership role
\nLocation and Travel
\n\nLocation options within Western Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Connecticut; preference for candidates based in Western MA, RI or CT.
\nRegular travel within the Western New England region to support customers and field teams

\n\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $106,000-165,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
