Job Description
Our organization is in search of a skilled and innovative Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Fellowship Program Director. This role involves leading the creation, implementation, accreditation, and ongoing management of a new MFM Fellowship Program. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of MFM education within a nationally recognized women's health initiative. The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring high standards in clinical education, research activities, and patient-centered care, while also promoting a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Schedule & Work Details- Work hours are Monday through Friday, with a rotating weeklong on-call schedule shared among six MFM physicians.
- Position is based at our facility dedicated to women's health in Downtown Orlando.
- Must possess dual board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Prior experience in leadership roles within ACGME-accredited programs is preferred.
- A strong background in MFM, high-risk obstetrics, and educational practices is essential.
- Must hold a valid Florida medical license or be eligible for one.
- DEA and BLS certifications are required.
- Lead and manage the fellowship program and its administrative functions.
- Provide educational leadership and instruction to fellows.
- Oversee clinical supervision and patient care activities.
- Guide research initiatives and scholarly activities.
- Engage in faculty development and support.
- Promote fellow well-being and enhance the learning environment.
