Job Description
Job Overview
Start Date: As soon as possible, ongoing
Clinic Coverage: 2-3 days per week
Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Friday (8:30 AM - 12:00 PM)
Call Coverage: Weekly rotation; options for 12 or 24-hour shifts (the facility is open to various arrangements)
Work Environment: Combination of clinic and call duties
Patient Load: 20-30 patients in the clinic daily, 0-5 patients while on call
Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries and C-sections; circumcisions are not mandatory
Additional Information: 5 labor rooms and 6 postpartum beds, with an average of 2-4 non-stress tests/observations each day
Support Staff: No inpatient advanced practice provider support, but midwives are available
Electronic Medical Records: EPIC
Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in OBGYN, active South Carolina license, DEA registration, South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration, and BLS certification required
Our organization can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will provide malpractice coverage.
