Mid Market Account Manager
Job Description
About Hyperbound
\nHyperbound (YC S23) is the Revenue Activation Platform, an agentic OS for sales that closes the loop between behavior, coaching, and execution. We're a system that changes what happens next, and we're reshaping the structure of our customers' sales orgs in the process.
\nAs the inventors of AI sales roleplay, we help enterprise sales teams practice, measure, and scale top-performer behaviors. IBM, LinkedIn, Bloomberg, Supabase, Monday.com, Notion, and Vanta are just a few of the companies that trust us.
\nWe 5x'd ARR last year and raised a $15M Series A led by Peak XV. Our team ships new features weekly and has close feedback loops with customers. The category is exploding, and we're pouring gas on the fire.
\nThe Role
\nWe're hiring Mid-Market Account Managers to own some of our most important post-sale relationships. This is not a typical AM role: you'll own both adoption and revenue, carrying quota on GRR and NRR while being the single face of Hyperbound to a broad book of mid-market accounts. Supported by our Solutions Engineers on integrations and onboarding, you'll shape the playbook for a new category and directly influence how Hyperbound grows.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- \n
Own a book of business across our mid-market accounts, serving as the single point of contact from onboarding through renewal
\n - \n
Drive adoption of Hyperbound (Roleplays, Real Call Scoring, certifications, learning modules) in partnership with our Solutions Engineers
\n - \n
Build and deliver executive-level QBRs that tie product usage to business outcomes
\n - \n
Carry quota on GRR and NRR: renew contracts, expand seats, and upsell modules
\n - \n
Identify churn risk early and proactively solve adoption challenges
\n - \n
Turn customer wins into references and case studies that fuel future sales
\n
What You'll Bring
\n- \n
- \n
3+ years in customer-facing roles, ideally progressing from CSM to AM or a similar hybrid
\n - \n
Comfort being measured on revenue as well as customer success, with a track record of renewing and expanding a book (not just keeping customers happy)
\n - \n
Ability to run QBRs that connect product usage to business outcomes
\n - \n
A builder's mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to write the playbook, not follow one
\n - \n
Strong relationship skills and willingness to travel frequently to be on-site with customers
\n - \n
Excitement about being the face of a breakout YC company to some of the world's best-known brands
\n
Bonus points
\nPrior startup, past founder, or high-growth experience
\nCompensation & Benefits
\nSalary: $170K-$210K OTE structured 60/40, with variable tied to GRR and NRR to reward retention and expansion, plus quarterly adoption bonuses as a kicker.
\nEquity: Meaningful early-stage equity in a Series A company growing 20% MoM
\nHealth: Medical, dental, and vision coverage
\nTime off: Unlimited
\nOffice: 5 days a week in SF with daily lunches. Commuter and parking benefits
\nInterview Process
\n- \n
- \n
Recruiter screen with James, Founding Recruiter (30 min)
\n - \n
Hiring manager interview with Aaron, (30 min)
\n - \n
Take home exercise (1-2 hours)
\n - \n
Take home exercise review with Atul, Co Founder, and Aaron, hiring manager (45 min)
\n - \n

\n
We move fast, from first conversation to offer in 1-2 weeks. We'll be transparent at every stage.

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
