• Gain knowledge of all departmental functions.
\n
• Assist in supervising production team members.
\n
• Ensure team is following safe food handling practices and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Monitor and assign duties as necessary for team members.
\n
• Assist in improvement opportunities.
\n
• Assist in training and cross-training team members.
\n
• Record and order inventory and supplies.
\n
• Perform safety inspections ensuring safety of all team members.
\n

Requirements\n
\n
\n 1+ year leadership experience required. Extensive knowledge of poultry plant operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. English language skills required, bi-lingual (Spanish/English) skills preferred.\n
\n
Physical Requirements\n
\n
\n

\n
• Typical office environment within a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, telephones and other office equipment.
\n
• Frequently sit for long periods.
\n
• Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
\n
• May be exposed to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines.
\n
• May be exposed to damp, wet, and cold environments.
\n
• Work around live and/or raw animal odors.
\n
