Gastroenterology, Advanced Practice Provider - Outpatient Gastroenterology (Sayre, PA)

Highlights of the Position

• Based on the Robert Packer Hospital campus in Sayre, PA, this Advanced Practice Provider role is 100% ambulatory
\n
• You will evaluate and manage adult patients with common GI conditions, support longitudinal IBD and hepatology follow?up, optimize medication therapy, coordinate care, and provide pre?/post?procedure education
\n
• You will collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, fellow APPs, RNs, and clinic leadership within an integrated multi?specialty system
\n

Candidate Requirements

\n

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification
\n
• Eligible for Pennsylvania licensure, prescriptive authority, and DEA. Current BLS required (ACLS preferred).

• Prior gastroenterology or internal medicine experience is preferred; motivated new graduates with strong adult medicine rotations and a clear interest in GI will be considered
\n
• Success in this role requires excellent patient education, team communication, EMR documentation proficiency, and a collaborative, solutions?oriented approach.
\n
