Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care by employing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating patient care
- Conducting patient assessments
- Providing patient education
- Performing triage and various nursing interventions
This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, to effectively plan, implement, and assess care. The RN must demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice is essential. Our professional nursing practice aligns with the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
- Possession of an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where practice occurs, or multistate licensure if applicable in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Must obtain and maintain necessary department-specific licenses, competencies, and certifications.
