Our client is seeking an HR Risk & Leave Administrator.

Summary
The HR Risk & Leave Administrator is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of personnel and property in the workplace. Responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of the Risk & Safety department, providing the highest level of customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Risk Administration
•Coordinates employee work injuries, vehicle accidents, and company equipment accidents, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and supports management in accident/incident investigations and identifies possible causes.
•Maintains documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents, and related events.
•Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems and provides recommendations for improving safety in the workplace.
•Acts as a liaison between management, employees, and external vendors, such as insurance companies.
•Coordinates and hosts OSH Committee meetings and administers safety awards (if any).
2. Leave Administration (WC, FMLA/CFRA, etc.)
•Coordinates the day-to-day administration and tracking of employees' leaves of absence, including required documentation, timelines, benefits coordination, status updates, and the return to work process.
•Interactively communicates with employees and supervisors regarding leave procedures, timelines, and partners with HR leaders, benefits, payroll, and medical providers as needed to support timely and compliant leave administration.
•Maintains accurate, timely, confidential LOA records and monitors leave status to ensure employee status and payroll status are reflective of the LOA.
3. General HR Support
•Performs additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the HR department.
Qualifications and Competencies
Technical Skills
•Good systems skills and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
•Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Professional Competencies
•Comfortable providing exceptional customer service; maintains the strictest confidentiality.
•Strong attention to detail, compliance, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
