Compensation Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Job Overview

The CT Technologist will deliver patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scanning equipment. This role requires the ability to produce high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Additionally, the technologist must provide excellent care by exercising sound judgment and discretion.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • New Jersey Radiology license
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Prior experience in CT

Preferred:

  • CT Certification
Scheduling Requirements
  • Evening Shift
  • 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Tuesday to Friday
Essential Functions
  • Assist radiologists with specialized examinations
  • Show proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems
  • Exercise professional judgment and discretion during imaging procedures
  • Keep examination rooms and work areas clean
  • Ensure proper maintenance of CR cassettes and report any needing repair
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in all procedure rooms
  • Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as required
  • Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit an LT work order as necessary
  • Utilize RadCode for billing related to specific interventional procedures
  • Apply radiation protection principles for both self and patients during examinations
  • Use appropriate positioning and technical factors to ensure diagnostic quality images
