School Speech Language Pathologist - Lexington, North Carolina

Two full-time roles are available: one in a traditional elementary school setting (grades K–5), and another in a specialized environment serving students with disabilities across K–12. Both positions offer a rewarding blend of direct therapy, assessments, and collaborative work with enthusiastic school teams.

What you’ll bring:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license from the state of North Carolina
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• School-based SLP experience preferred, especially with relevant student populations
• Proven skill with evaluations, developing and managing IEPs, and providing direct therapy
• Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary teamwork abilities
• Sensitivity and adaptability when working with diverse student needs, including AAC and adaptive communication (for specialized setting)

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and evaluations as determined by student needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
• Deliver engaging direct therapy sessions in both group and individual formats
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust services for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and other specialists to support student success
• Maintain complete, timely documentation according to school requirements
