Job Description
Location: St. Charles, MO
Worker Type: PRN
Position OverviewThis role involves conducting computerized tomographic procedures to aid in diagnosing diseases and injuries, adhering to protocols set by radiologists. Candidates must be proficient in at least three of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary interventions, Watchman procedures, extremity work for operating room planning, ablations, or fiducial placements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients while accurately selecting anatomical and technical parameters.
- Administer contrast media and/or medications in accordance with established practices and relevant regulations.
- Monitor patients during procedures, reporting any unusual activity, and suggest updates to protocols as necessary.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and guidelines.
- Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Education: Completion of a program in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
- Experience: No prior experience is required.

Licenses and Certifications:
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- ARRT-R Radiography, ARRT-T Radiation Therapy, or ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- ARRT-CT Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Computed Tomography (CT) Credential - NMTCB
- Radiologic Technologists - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) or Temporary Accreditation - IEMA (for Illinois)
- Radiologic Technologists - Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (for Wisconsin)
