Position Overview

Our organization, located in Belleville, provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services to the northern New Jersey community. With a dedicated team of over 700 physicians and 2,100 staff members, we deliver advanced medical treatments across numerous specialties. Our facility features specialized centers for wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics, cardiac services, cancer treatment, emergency care, and more. In 2017, we completed a significant expansion, introducing a modern four-story building that includes a private 32-bed Intensive Care Unit, a new main entrance and lobby, a retail pharmacy, a patient registration area, and an expanded emergency department.

Qualifications
  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
    • Associate degree in nursing
    • ACLS Certification must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
    • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
    • At least two years of RN experience in Critical Care or Telemetry
Certifications and Licenses
  • Active New Jersey RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Scheduling Details
  • Part-Time Position
  • 25 hours per week
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend is required; weekday scheduling will vary based on departmental needs
Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for organizing and delivering individualized, age-appropriate care to patients within a designated unit. This role supports the mission, vision, and objectives of our organization and the Nursing Department. The RN practices in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements, and other regulatory standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in patient education and discharge planning
  • Engaging in unit performance improvement evaluation activities
