Sr Product Owner - 3644700

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Product Owner position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be on-site in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build and own the product vision and roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
\n
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog(s) based on overall product strategy.
\n
• Represent the voice of the customer and ensure story clarity for the delivery team.
\n
• Make autonomous, well-informed decisions to move product delivery forward.
\n
• Write user stories and define acceptance criteria.
\n
• Partner with agile teams to create effective communication tools and progress tracking mechanisms.
\n
• Participate in and lead agile ceremonies and team activities.
\n
• Collaborate across business units and with other Product Owners to align customer journeys and dependent backlogs.
\n
• Use design thinking methods and analytics to focus on outcomes over outputs.
\n
• Influence business partners across the organization to advocate for customer-centered solutions.
\n

What You’ll Need to Have:

\n
• 6+ years of Product Owner, product management, or related experience
\n
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog grooming and PI planning
\n
• Banking industry experience required
\n
• Experience with Account Opening (AO), deposits, or embedded banking (strongly preferred)
\n
• Experience writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
\n
• Proven ability to work closely with technical teams to deliver committed work
\n
• Strong communication skills with experience reporting to senior business stakeholders
\n
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
\n
• Experience using Miro or Figma for roadmap development
\n

Pay Range: $60-$65/hr
