Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist I is responsible for delivering evidence-based, patient-centered rehabilitation services aimed at restoring function, enhancing mobility, alleviating pain, and maximizing independence. You will work closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to create tailored treatment plans that help patients meet their rehabilitation objectives.

  • Assess patients and formulate individualized treatment strategies.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, mobility assistance, and functional rehabilitation.
  • Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their caregivers about treatment plans and home exercise routines.
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate EMR documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctorate, or Certificate in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid state Physical Therapy license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification from AHA upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
