As an emergency physician and a member of the health care team in the Army Reserve, you will serve your community while being available for duty as required. You will collaborate with top professionals in the field and care for a varied patient demographic, including Soldiers and their families.

• Health Professional Special Pay: $75,000 for qualifying specialties, distributed in three annual payments of $25,000.
• Loan Repayment: Up to $250,000 available for eligible educational loans, with a maximum of $40,000 per year.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. institution; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
• Current medical license to practice in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.
• Eligibility for board certification.
• Completion of at least one year in an accredited Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship.
• Completion of a training program in emergency medicine.
• Aged between 21 and 42 years.
• Permanent residency in the United States.
