Physician, Gastroenterology - Pancreatology (San Francisco, CA)
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist with specialized training in Pancreatology to become part of a distinguished and innovative team of interventional endoscopists at a leading tertiary-quaternary referral hospital within our health network.
This position provides a strong referral network and focuses on the thorough management of benign pancreatic conditions, such as recurrent acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, and pancreatic cystic lesions. The program attracts substantial regional referrals, ensuring a diverse range of clinical experiences and procedures.
Physicians in this role will have the chance to engage in and influence pioneering clinical and translational research, including initiatives in chemoablation and radiofrequency ablation for pancreatic tumors.
