We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join a growing pediatric outpatient clinic. This is a full-time treating clinician role focused on providing high-quality, individualized occupational therapy services to children from birth through age 21. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and confident managing a pediatric caseload independently.

Monday-Friday

Choose between:
4-day workweek (10-hour shifts), or
5-day workweek (8-hour shifts)
Clinic hours: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
No weekends or on-call responsibilities
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental, neurological, sensory, and physical disabilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support carryover of therapy goals.
Maintain medical necessity documentation and EMR records.
Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
Manage an independent pediatric caseload while meeting productivity expectations.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative clinical environment.
Treat children from birth through age 21 with diagnoses including:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
ADHD
Developmental Delays
Sensory Processing Disorders
Fine Motor & Coordination Deficits
Self-Care Delays
Feeding Difficulties
Cerebral Palsy
Down Syndrome
Neurological Disorders
Muscle Weakness
Other developmental and medically complex conditions
Treatment sessions are 45 minutes and conducted in a 1:1 outpatient setting.
QualificationsRequiredDegree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Texas Occupational Therapist (OTR) license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
Minimum 2 years of pediatric Occupational Therapy experience (excluding fieldwork/clinical rotations)
Strong pediatric evaluation and treatment skills
Experience with treatment planning and documentation
Excellent communication and parent education skills
Ability to independently manage a pediatric caseload
Comfortable using EMR systems and other digital documentation tools
Pediatric outpatient experience
Sensory Integration training
Feeding therapy experience
NDT or handwriting program experience
Bilingual (Spanish-English)
Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation
