Manufacturing Team Member Broach Operator

Location: Mansfield, TX
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift | MondayFriday | 9:00 PM5:30 AM

Position Overview

We are hiring Manufacturing Team Members Broach Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for dependable candidates with prior machine operating experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and performing repetitive tasks with a strong focus on safety and quality.

The Broach Operator will work from an elevated platform approximately 10 feet above the floor and remain standing for approximately 89 hours per shift, unless other duties are assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate broaching machinery according to established procedures.

• Work continuously from an elevated platform approximately 10 feet in the air.

• Move back and forth across a platform approximately 5 feet wide while performing production tasks.

• Retrieve individual parts weighing approximately 1.5 lbs. from designated bins.

• Properly position each part into the machine fixture.

• Apply slight pressure to ensure each part is fully seated before starting the operation.

• Use hand buttons to activate the machine cycle.

• Move to the opposite side of the platform and repeat the loading and operating process.

• Maintain a consistent production pace while ensuring accuracy and quality.

• Inspect parts for proper placement and identify potential defects or issues.

• Follow all safety procedures, machine operating instructions, and company policies.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Perform repetitive standing, reaching, walking, and machine-loading activities throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Prior machine operating experience required.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to stand and work for 89 hours per shift.

• Comfortable working on an elevated platform approximately 10 feet above the floor.

• Ability to safely move back and forth on a narrow work platform.

• Ability to repeatedly lift and handle parts weighing approximately 1.5 lbs.

• Must be dependable and have good attendance.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Must have a clean background check.

• Must be able to pass a drug test.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established safety procedures.
