Production SupervisorPosition Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, people-focused Production Supervisor to provide leadership and direction to a manufacturing team while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position plays a key role in achieving operational goals, meeting customer expectations, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Production Supervisor will lead and develop employees, manage daily production activities, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production schedules and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and promote a strong culture of workplace safety and employee accountability.
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery requirements are met.
  • Manage staffing, production workflow, employee assignments, and daily production reporting.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Coach, train, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen individual and team performance.
  • Provide clear direction, establish expectations, and address performance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, maintenance, materials, human resources, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain production flow.
  • Analyze production data and utilize problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with the implementation of process improvements.
  • Maintain appropriate records, documentation, and reports related to production activities and employee performance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive business and employee information.
  • Provide hands-on operational support as needed to ensure production activities remain on schedule.
  • Promote teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive working environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in supervision, operations management, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2–4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop production employees.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple projects, responsibilities, and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and other commonly used business productivity tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, peers, management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
