Compensation Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Job OverviewThe CT Technologist will deliver patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scanning equipment. This role requires proficiency in producing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Additionally, the technologist must provide excellent care by exercising sound judgment and discretion.
QualificationsRequired:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- New Jersey Radiology license
- ARRT Certification
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Prior experience in CT
Preferred:
- CT Certification
- Part-Time
- Evening Shift
- Assist radiologists with specialized examinations
- Exhibit proficiency in using RIS and PACS
- Apply professional judgment and discretion during imaging procedures
- Ensure cleanliness of examination rooms and workspaces
- Maintain CR cassettes and report any needing repairs
- Keep stock levels adequate in all procedure rooms
- Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as required
- Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit LT work orders as necessary
- Utilize RadCode for billing related to specific interventional procedures
- Implement radiation protection principles for both self and patients during examinations
- Ensure proper positioning and technical settings to guarantee diagnostic-quality images for interpretation
